Our History in Teddy Bear Making

I began making teddy bears for my children about 15 years ago. I added a few of my bears to my stained glass craft booth at some local Christmas craft shows and the bears were a big hit! Bear making was a lot more fun .About 10 years ago, I discovered mohair and the artist bear world and now, over 5,000 bears later, I'm still having fun.

Our Bears

The bears come in all sizes and materials. Each is truly unique. All are my own design and are made only by myself.

The material choices include mohair (the classic bear making fabric), alpaca, and,occasionally, woven back synthetics. The sizes range from 5 inches to 36 inches. Most are fully jointed, with UltraSuede(TM) paw pads and German glass eyes.

In 2004 I took a needle felting class.... and discovered another way to make all sorts of creatures.
