I was born in Sweden and came to Australia in 1971 and have never looked back. I made my first bear in 1994 from an old coat the I rescued from my dog. I gave him a blanket and washed the coat and made my first bear and the rest is history as they say. I was so pleased with the effort that I made a second one and I still have those two bears to remind me where I started out from. I work mostly in mohair and small editions. I like the designing most and making the new bear is the best.I do make other critters as well as bears and to date I have a rat and a mouse,an Eskimo and other things. I do not have a lot of time to do other things since I started making bears. But I do like animals and have a cat called Monthy and he is a very good friend and he do not mind all the stuff from bearmaking. I will also start to do workshops for the folk that are interested.
